Privacy policy
E & S Auto Sales Inc., operating as E & S Cargo Vans, collects only what we need to answer your questions about vans, financing and trade-ins. This policy follows Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

What we collect
When you send a form on this site (book a viewing, value a trade-in, request a pre-approval call, ask us to find a van, or send a message), we collect:
- your first and last name, phone number and email address;
- what you write to us, and the van you were looking at, if any;
- for trade-ins: the year, make, model, kilometres and condition of your vehicle, and whether money is owed on it;
- for pre-approval requests: whether you are buying as a business or for personal use, and the payment estimate you were viewing.
We do not ask for your date of birth, social insurance number, driver's licence or banking details on this website. A credit application, if you choose to make one, is completed with us directly.
How we use it
- To contact you about the van, viewing, trade-in or financing you asked about.
- To send you one automatic email confirming we received your request.
- To keep a record of your enquiry so anyone on our team can help you.
We do not sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing. We will only send you promotional emails if you ask us to.
Who handles it for us
We use trusted service providers to run this website. They process your information only to provide their service to us:
- Supabase stores enquiries and our vehicle listings in a secure database.
- Resend sends our email notifications and confirmations.
- Cloudflare hosts and delivers this website.
These providers may store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to the laws of that country.
If you go ahead with financing, we share the details you approve with the lender you choose, with your consent at that time.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. If we measure visits, we use privacy-friendly analytics that count page views without identifying you. The only cookies we set are for our own staff when they sign in to manage the site.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as needed to serve you and to meet our legal and accounting obligations, then delete them.
Your choices
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it and stop contacting you. Email rmdickens.homelife@gmail.com or call 416-559-2156. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.
